1. Sự nhầm lẫn từ cách viết tắt PM?
Hiện nay, trên nhiều nguồn tuyển dụng, mình thấy các bạn HR thường viết tắt là PM. Việc này không hoàn toàn sai mà theo mình nó thiên về sự để tâm. Việc ghi rõ vị trí tuyển dụng sẽ giảm bớt thời gian không cần thiết cho cả ứng viên lẫn bên tuyển dụng.
Hiện nay, có ba vị trí mà khi viết tắt sẽ trở thành PM:
- Product Manager
- Project Manager
- Program Manager (vị trí này mình ít thấy ở Việt Nam hiện nay)
Về việc phân biệt Product Manager và Project Manager, mình sẽ có một bài viết cụ thể hơn. Hiện tại, nhìn chung, Product Manager quản lý life-cycle của 1 sản phẩm, và Project Manager sẽ quản lý quy trình dự án.
2. JD về vị trí Product Manager từ Apple
Xem thử JD của Apple về role của Product Manager:

Phân tích:
Nhìn từ JD của Apple, ta có thể thấy rằng về mặt Core skills, Apple vẫn cần 1 người đảm bảo được 3 yếu tố:
- UX/ Experties (đặc biệt trong trường hợp này là Payment và FinTech)
- Business (như phần responsibilities, yêu cầu người PM phải làm việc với team marking, analytics trong quá trình define roadmap)
- Tech (cũng tương tự vậy)
Bên cạnh đó, đặc thù dòng sản phẩm mà Apple đang hướng tới đang là phần software, do đó yêu cầu người PM có kinh nghiệm với quy trình Agile.
Ngoài ra, điểm cộng thêm là khả năng sáng tạo, thích tìm hiểu lĩnh vực này.
