1. A quick overview

     - So far,  you've been responsible for each step in the product-design lifecycle. You've found and validated an opportunity, communicated it to your stakeholders, and gotten everyone on board.

     - Now it's time to begin working with design. What you might start with is a basic idea that you've developed with the Product Requirements Document in your work with the business and marketing Team.

     - In this example, perhaps sits a companion app for those individuals that own an electronic skateboard. An electric skateboard. And it's gonna give them some opportunity to help improve their experience and solve some problems that they've encountered with this type of product.

2. Execution phase

- Now we'll shift into the execution phase, which starts by figuring out the product's user experience with the design team.

- So we're moving from the lower-right part of the Product Triangle where we were collaborating with Business and Product Marketing into the upper-center element with Product Design.

- Now that we've figured out, in general, what we're building, we need to draw up the blueprints, the sketches. Figure out where everything goes, how it looks, how it functions. And our objectives for working with design are fivefold.

+ One, design the best possible product that meets the team's goals.

+ To determine your product's user experience.

+ To draw the blueprints, the sketches, et cetera of exactly what the product looks like.

+ To decide where everything goes.

+ And to position engineering for success in translating the design into reality.
